Post My Easy to follow guide on how to create Xbox 360 Backups
Hi All, since i've had so much trouble finding all the correct info needed on how to correctly backup Xbox 360 games and have them stealthed correctly - I have created my own guide on how to do so with all my findings, i just don't want others to have to search for hours on end like i've had to :)

http://mod360s.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=8&Itemid=11

Many others have tried my guide already and are extremely happy with it - If you need to backup games here's the one and only guide you should ever need.

Please advise if there's any other useful information i could add to it :)

Thanks!

Thanks :)

I hope it does, as i put alot of info on my website to show users how to follow this process step by step and with the most easy to follow instructions possible

My goal here was to stop others from having to look through several forums to add up all the pieces to the puzzle (like what ive had to do)

Software will be updated as they come by, as will the guides :)

Hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

i dont mean to bump an old topic but i was just reading random stuff on the forum (as you do) and came across this tutorial which is great by the way ...i just have one question. what is the advantage of using Xbox Backup Creator to burn the disk? why not just use Imgburn?

the inverse of that question also applies.

what if you don't have imageburn installed?

but from the tutorial imgburn is used as a burn engine from within Xbox Backup Creator ...so wouldnt you need imgburn to already be installed?

please correct me if i am wrong as i have never burnt a 360 backup.... but just curious :)

OK. So whats with the different drives and DVD-R dual layer and all that good stuff. Do I have to buy external drives for my CPU to do this? (KREON and ASUS and ect. I don't know what those are!!)

Also, If I make a back-up, can I play it on my 360 right away? Or does my 360 need to be modded?

Thanks. Just trying to learn...

Jose

The 360 must be modded and you need a Kreon Drive or use your 360 drive hooked up to the PC to read out the drives.
The discs you need are DVD+R DL , Verbatims are best...
